The Fans

They attended the games, they sat glued to their television screens, and they loved roller derby.

They are the fans.

Some wildly cheering, others quietly watching the action unfold on the track, the fans were there.  The devotion of the fans to their favorite skaters, and to roller derby, is now the stuff of legends.

Even as the game went into a downturn, the fans never abandoned their hopes and dreams of derby returning in all of its glory.  The many loyal fans remember vividly, the precious moments spent at the games, as they thrilled to the talents of the game's greatest stars.

In all of their remembrances of roller derby history, you can feel the intense love for roller derby, and for its skaters.
