Roller Derby Referees

Their striped shirts are a familiar sight to roller derby fans.  The league referees are often a highly visible part of many roller derby games.  In other matches, they are barely noticed at all.

One thing is sure, their importance can't be overlooked.

Whether calling the end to a play, getting the pack ready to start another jam, or breaking up a fight between two arch rivals, the game needs the refs.
