Okay Loretta you win, here's my story

Back in 1963 on a Tuesday night I was visiting my good friend, Lloyd and his Aunt Elouise were watching the Roller Derby and they were going to the game that Saturday night, so I wanted to go and my God Mother Billie said that I could.  That Saturday night the Detroit Devils were skating, with John Hall, Toni Tagg, Liz Hernandez, Terri Lynch, Ruberta Mitchell, Judy Sowinski and so on.  They announced that there was a training school and the next day Lloyd and I went down with skates in hand thinking that we would be able to skate that very day, well low and behold we could not until we got a release signed and notarized.  Well, it took me a whole week before I could get on the track to skate and that was the longest week of my life.  And as they say the rest is history.

I began my professional career around June or July of the next year, 1964.  I was 13 years old and the first team I skated with was the Hawaiian Warriors, with David Pound and Judy Arnold.  It was the best time of my life.  I first started out as the skate boy thanks to Terri Lynch and Dee Maresska (not sure how to spell Dee's last name) but thanks to Dee and Terri I became the skate boy.

I skated in the jet league for awhile but quickly moved on to skate pro thanks to David Pound.  And from that time on I was able to skate as well as still being skate boy, because while we were on the road when someone did not show up I would skate in their place.  And I've been skating every since.  Now here it is 2003 and I'm still skating, not as well as I would like to but skating just the same, thanks God.  I have skated on just about every team in National Skating Derby and have been a coach since the early 70's.  About 1972 with the Texas Outlaws and from there the New York Bombers and so on.

I've even coached the LA T-Birds. Ha Ha Ha!!

Loretta I don't know what else to say, you know that I copied your style, Ruberta Mitchell's and Judy Arnold's.  If you need more let me know.  Thank you "Little Iodine".
